Kamini Pahuja Assumes CEO and President Roles

RICHMOND, Virginia -- Alloy Polymers, Inc. announced today that the Company’s Co-Founder, Kamini Pahuja, is assuming the roles of Chief Executive Officer and President. Ms. Pahuja will continue to serve as the Company’s Chairman and is its controlling shareholder.

“I look forward to resuming a leadership role in the day to day operations of the Company. We have assembled a strong management team and we will continue to execute our strategy focused on operational excellence,” said Ms. Pahuja.

“We have a long history of providing exceptional customer service, continuous transformation to meet the ever changing demands of our industry, and unending commitment to our associates who make it all possible,” continued Ms. Pahuja. “My team and I are focused on building upon these Alloy Polymer traditions.”

Ms. Pahuja and Subhash Pahuja, who passed away in 2007, founded the Company in 1982. During the last 29 years, Ms. Pahuja has served the Company in various roles, including service as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Ms. Pahuja lead the Company’s international expansion efforts with the opening of its first facility in Pune, India. Prior to founding Alloy Polymers, Ms. Pahuja was employed by AT&T into their accelerated management program.

She is active in a number of philanthropic efforts including service on the Iona College and Collegiate School Board of Trustees –spearheading Student Exchange and leadership program with India. She won the SBA award for Top 15 business women in USA in 2004.Iona College New Rochelle NY (1974 Graduate) recognized her achievement as an entrepreneur in manufacturing with The Loftus Award in 2010.

Charles Chiappone, who previously served the Company as its Chief Executive Officer and President, has left the Company to pursue other interests.

Alloy Polymers, Inc., headquartered in Richmond, VA, provides compounding and related services to companies worldwide. It operates five facilities in Virginia, Ohio, Texas, and Pune, India and employs more than 200 associates.
