· Project/Process Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA

Ambitious Project Engineer with demonstrated success in leading parallel engineering projects with variable time frames. The ideal candidate will bring about dynamic growth by leveraging our expertise and technical approach, and developing productive business relationships with the owners, developers and marketers of proprietary thermoplastic compounds. Your primary objective is to assist our growth in the polymers business. Duties include applications and project leadership in twin screw extrusion in a manufacturing environment. Develop and execute a capital project plan on time and within budget. Redesign and optimization of current equipment. Qualified Candidates: 5+ years in the plastic compounding industry, strong customer focus, change agent, 3 – 4 years experience in project development activities, ˝ of career in small to mid size custom order driven product company, 4 year degree in engineering or hard science with preference for Chemical Engineering strongly preferred.


· Lean Leader/Continuous Improvement Team Leader

Alloy Polymers currently has an opening for a Lean Leader serving our sites in three states. The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement efforts and have a strong background in operations. They will organize CI manufacturing workshops focusing on Variation Reduction, Flow Manufacturing, Kanban, and OEE. Lean Six Sigma projects will be conducted as required. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Masters Degree a plus. 3-5 years Industrial Engineering or Continuous Improvement Experience is required. Prior experience with the following preferred: VSM, Kanban, Poke Yoke, cellular manufacturing, 5S, and problem solving.
